About the Opportunity
West Parry Sound Health Centre is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Finance Department, ensuring timely, accurate completion of financial and statistical reports, reconciling accounts, and analyzing accounting records. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in aspects of the annual operating planning and budgeting process; support the financial team in developing budgets, analyzing the results of operations, and forecasting; and assist community partners with financial reporting, recording and the managing of several memorandums of understanding.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday, day shift.
More About You
Basic Requirements:
- University Degree and/or college diploma in a related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years previous experience in finance, accounting, or business;
- Chartered Professional Accounting designation would be an asset;
- Previous hospital experience and experience working with a computerized accounting system;
- Previous experience with Meditech would be an asset;
- Superior knowledge of Excel;
- Proficient with personal computers, word processing, and associated software;
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
- Skill in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct business correspondence and reports.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate positive relationships;
- Ability to multitask while providing consistent, high-quality work.
- Commitment to continuing education and maintaining professional standards.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references.

About the Benefits
In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive hourly salary of $83,000 to $96,000 based on experience. In addition, you can look forward to the following array of benefits:
