About the Opportunity
Applications are currently being accepted for a Resident Physiotherapist/Physiotherapist reporting to the Clinical Manager. The successful applicant will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with an in-house mentor to provide inpatient and outpatient assessment, consultation, and treatment services, enjoy the benefits of working in a newer facility, and experience a diverse caseload with a wide variety of both established and evolving programs. In addition, responsibilities will include but are not limited to establishing treatment goals, maintaining clinical and statistical records, conferring with physicians, patient teaching, and contributing to departmental strategic planning.

More About You
Basic Requirements
- Successful completion of a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent;
- Current license or eligibility for membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist);
- Current membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Resident Physiotherapist);
- Completed the written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (Resident Physiotherapist);
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
- Current CPR basic rescuer certificate;
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and maintenance of high professional standards;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs;
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Physiotherapy;
- Demonstrated skills and experience in health care teaching and supervising rehabilitation assistants and students;
- Superior level of skill, experience, ability, and qualifications;
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel may be required.
